Note that Muse Research does not distribute nor sell this plug-in. Rather, this free download configures your Receptor to allow your previously purchased plug-in / sound library to be installed.

You must already own the original plug-in to be able to use this download!

IMPORTANT: If you haven't already done so you MUST update your Receptor to the latest version before installing this file to ensure compatibility.

How to install:

1. Download the plug-in "prep installer".
2. Copy it to the "<Receptor Hard Drive>\Drop Installers Here\" folder.
3. Click the "Install" button from the Receptor's SETUP window.
4. Follow these plug-in specific Installation Notes:

   IMPORTANT: This installer is for Receptor customers who already own any of the following Toontrack Music drum plugin / sound libraries: dfh Superior, Custom & Vintage, Percussionist and/or Cocktail.

   This installer includes:

   1. Receptorized patches for source, single and multis.
   2. Default stereo mixdown setup.
   3. Default sound and preset paths set to the above sample paths.
   4. dfh Superior, Custom & Vintage manuals.
   5. Edrums and Xtras for preset patches from Alesis, Yamaha, etc.

   Drop the installer "superior-1.5.4-3.rpm" in the "Drop Installer Here" folder of the mounted receptor and click install from the setup view.

   On your computer, you will need to insert the relevant DVD for the product (s) you wish to install to enable you to copy the correct files.

   Copy the contents of the "Drummer" folder from your DVD along with the "latest soundstats file" to:

   /Samples/Toontrack/Superior/Drummer

   Copy the contents of the "Percussionist" folder from your DVD along with the "latest soundstats file" to:

   /Samples/Toontrack/Superior/Percussionist

   Copy the contents of the "Cocktail" folder from your DVD along with the "latest soundstats file" to:

   /Samples/Toontrack/Superior/Cocktail

   Copy the contents of the "CustomVintage" folder from your DVD along with the "latest soundstats file" to:

   /Samples/Toontrack/CustomVintage

   Copy the contents of the "VintageAddOn" folder from your DVD along with the "latest soundstats file" to:

   /Samples/Toontrack/VintageAddOn

   dfh Superior will function on Receptor for 30 days; it will then require an iLok license. If you already own dfh you can apply for a FREE cross-grade which will unlock dfh on Receptor permanently!
