An installer for Ivory v1.7 is also available (compatible with RECEPTOR 2 running v1.8+).

Note that Muse Research does not distribute nor sell this plug-in. Rather, this free download configures your Receptor to allow your previously purchased plug-in to be authorized using the plug-in developer's own authorization methodology.

You must already own the original plug-in to be able to authorize it using this download!

IMPORTANT: You need to have access to the Receptor GUI via a connected VGA monitor or by using Receptor Remote; you cannot authorize Synthogy plug-ins from Receptor's front panel.

IMPORTANT: If you haven't already done so you MUST update your Receptor to the latest version before installing this file to ensure compatibility.

How to install:

1. Download the plug-in "prep installer".
2. Copy it to the "<Receptor Hard Drive>\Drop Installers Here\" folder.
3. Click the "Install" button from the Receptor's SETUP window.
4. Follow these plug-in specific Installation Notes:

   This installer includes all the Receptor patches and programs for both Ivory and the Italian Grand Expansion pack. You can use this installer whether you own just Ivory or also the Italian Grand Expansion Pack.

   If you already have Ivory installed this installer will update the Ivory engine to v1.63.

   STEP 1

   On your computer, insert the Ivory DVD. Copy the following files from the DVD to the Receptor hard drive at:

   \Samples\Synthogy\Ivory\Ivory Items\

   Copy:

   • All Bösendorfer files
   • All German_D files
   • All Studio_7FT files
   • Synth 1
   • Synth 2
   • Optional: All Italian files (1-11) (if you have the Italian Expansion Pack)

   STEP 2

   To Authorize Ivory:

   1. Click on "Run Utility..." in Receptor's SETUP view and choose "Ivory Library Tools" to check, verify and convert all the sample libraries to be compatible on your Receptor.

      IMPORTANT: If the Ivory samples are not pre-installed on your Receptor, you MUST convert them using the Ivory Library Tools in order for them to be compatible on Receptor. Please instantiate Ivory after the above step ONLY.

   2. Click on "Run Utility..." in Receptor's SETUP view and choose "Ivory" to authorize your copy of Ivory; follow the further instructions given by the Ivory authorizer.

      You have a grace period of 5 days before Authorizing Ivory on Receptor.

   Known Issues

   There are a few known issues with Ivory running on Receptor - please be aware:

   1. Pressing the keyboard during a patch change will reset Receptor. To switch to new patches without crashing use the snap-shot for quick patch changes.
   2. When loading a Multi or Single the Ivory patch names don't show up, but all parameters do show up and function correctly.
